I was a gruelling 12 hour days sanding floors and taking wallpaper down with the baby on my back, and others playing inside the playpen. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, however it was not quite done. It would take the time, energy, and of course my favourite shopping experience to complete the interior of this house. This was precisely what I needed. However after a few months without a phone, it began to ring. I began receiving messages from individuals asking for help in home improvement and interior design. The majority of them visited my home during my furniture open houses. The time flew by before I had a fully-fledged home renovation company. It began with taking clients on one at a pace that I could be confident in. If you'd told me that my venture would end up being the basis for a DIY Network show, I likely would have been astonished. As I reflect on the situation and think about it, I laugh.
