Katherine Heigl has revealed her childhood in a bubble of white and how this experience impacted the way she raised adopted, multiracial kids. In an interview with she spoke about the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed her body didn't matter to her. However, when speaking to her adopted sister from South Korea about how society treated them, she became aware of the stark differences the two were. "I inquired of Meg whether she felt different when she went out with us parents than the times she was out by herself. She replied "Oh, yes, every time!" Heigl said to Parents, "That made me realise that I was so naive." She confessed that she was angry however she was also aware of the need to use this anger to assist her daughters. Heigl shares a son of 4 years and Josh Kelley, her husband for the past 13 years. They have took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) and is black, in 2009.
