Molly Tarlov (born November 11 in 1981) is an American actress, best known in 2011 for her portrayal as Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama series Awkward. Tarlov was the eldest of two girls was raised and grew up within Manhattan, New York. At the age of 10 she played the role of the role of Mrs. Peterson as part of the Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was a hugely praised performance by an audience comprised of seventh graders. The summer she studied at NYU Tisch as well as the Interlochen Center for the Arts. She studied a wide range of styles for acting and earned her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company, in which she was a participant as well, helped her integrate writing and acting in the LAByrinth Theater's Master class. Molly traded in her black winter coat to get a pair of sunglasses in black and headed to Los Angeles. After a brief period she landed a minor role on iCarly that attracted a lot attention from her friends and family. Since then, she has done a variety of TV appearances, and also created the role of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman as well as Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family series Huge. Molly is a professional basketball athlete who believes she's much better than she is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
